Rally great video Jez. Worth rewatching for those intricate little details like giving the rocks a tap with the heel of your hand and taking time to look for foot placements.

JB, i follow ur content here in oz and i jut wanted to say that i enjoy every bit of it. JB has a very mellow cadence in explaining all things climbing and has obviously many years of practical experience....so theres no "fluff" around these topics, his un sponsored/ un biased opinion only adds to the quality of his content. JB if you were guiding or instructing down under, where we love the no "fluff" style btw, you would be no doubt as succsseful as you deserve to be. well done mate on a GREAT channel.

Interesting presentation made to describe these very picturesque mountain landscapes, which are very rough in places!

Bought you a coffee JB ☕😉👍 was down in Snowdonia area last week, but rained most of the time, so came home Sunday, was planning on doing the 3000s wild camping in between as I wanted to do it over 3 days and get my drone out ... but the weather was a total let down on Monday last week, nice during the day but the heavens opened up till 10am the next day, so stayed at Betws y Coed and camped at a local campsite ... and did a few hikes around Idwal Slabs area and Devils staircase and kitchen... hoping in the next few weeks for better weather for some good scrambles ... Great vids 👌

Thats a great book - just ordered it after your mention on here. Rockfax topos are great and loads of information in the book. The Steve Ashton book is a bit dated now - 20 years or so since publication? I believe it got the nickname helicopter rescues in Snowdonia as its so old. Used it loads though for looking up routes. Thanks again

Hey JB, Great vid. Heading to Bosigran in sept and wondering if you had any advice or could point me in the way of some info in moving as a three when scrambling?

Can you share the gridref for this ridge please :)
@tomtom44053 жыл бұрын
You need more that the grid ref for considerations like walkout etc. www.amazon.co.uk/Scrambles-Snowdonia-Cicerone-Guide-Ashton/dp/1852840889 Steve Ashton's book is worth its weight in gold. SH 649 604 is where you leave the road for the walk-in start. Beware of parking, it is very VERY **VERY** busy at peak times and parking on roadside you may get a ticket

Not sure of it to be honest, best bet is a guidebook though, all the info needed and loads of ace inspirational routes :)
