It may not be fixed, because it was originally a bug. In the past, some features of trident killers were removed but never came back. And btw, take back your trident before unloading the chunks, otherwise it will disappear.

I set up signs on the way out of my farms that says dont forget to add trident to chest. Simple fix. Meh on the looting 3. Afk over night for double chests full of whatever. But ye, they've been nerfed/bugged a bit. Ez fixes

JC, great walkthrough as always. FYI your item sorters are way easier to use if you replace the redstone clock with an autodropper. Barely more expensive and way easier because then there’s only one switch to use it.

The collection system on this has to be a joke or something changed because mine is exactly right and even when I put 41 bones and 41 arrows plus the blocks in the slots the system just collects the bones and arrows adding onto the 41 alr in there until it starts to burn them

I figured it out. The kelp trick either didn’t work or was patched. Had to manually fill each block of the column with a water source block.

Trident Killers have been Nerf you can no longer use Looting 3 on your sword to get the effect. They still work but you just don't get as many drops as you used to.✌💚😎

I'm surprised that noone has every did a spawn farm video where using a copper bulb or other variations to make a kill switch for the spawner. A simple torch behind a block that's attached to a sticky piston right above the spawner would instantly turn off the spawner for maintenance or to prevent having to go back once finished with the tk 🤔

This update hurt two of your builds that I use. Creeper disc farm is dead as creepers no longer drop discs when killed by skeleton. And the cauldron no longer refills with potion when under a dripstone with water above. The potion one was a real pain, I managed to get 11 / 13 discs from the other contraption.

The farm works pretty well. It required some workaround in the survival mode when building the bubble column but otherwise, I got the result I wanted. So thanks a ton, Jason. Just a quick one: I was able to get loot and XP at the beginning (even on v1.20) but all of a sudden it stopped providing XPs, it just gives me loot. Any idea why? I share the world and the skeleton farm with my kids on a Realms server so they might have broken something. However, the loot is still being produced, only XP is not. I'm on Win 11 on XP level 30, the kids are on the PS4 but I have not tried there yet. So I'm kinda puzzled about what could be wrong here. Any ideas, guys? Thank you.

I was able to fix it by breaking the glass block at the trident killing chamber and the block above the torch to the right of the slab. I stopped the killing process by flicking the lever down and I picked up the trident. After killing all skeletons that fell into the killing chamber in the meantime I quickly threw the trident into the piston and closed the killing chamber with the glass block again. Not sure what actually was wrong, it could have been a glitch in the game itself but these steps fixed the problem for me eventually.

I had this problem too. try replacing the water leading to the bubble column with a solid floor and place signs to block the water from the column from flowing into the area. then on the back Wall of the area where the skeletons fall initially, replace all blocks with glazed terracotta (color doesn't matter) and set up a piston with a slime block at head level on a redstone clock that will push the skeleton into the bubble column. make sure the slime block is flush with the back wall when the mechanism is in the "off" position. make sure none of the light from the redstone can reach the spawning room. make sure the redstone clock has enough of a delay that the skeletons can fall into the chamber without being stuck on top of the slime block as it extends and retracts
