That's not just racecar problems, it's oh-so-common with the 4L60E. Those transmissions are really trash, but the 4L80 conversion is relatively inexpensive in relation to the cost of that build. I think that a 4L80 with a manual valve body is an absolute necessity for a build that sweet. I love the conversion back to the automotive content. Keep up the good work and congratulations again on "Thailadega"

@@CBMedia404 Right! I would imagine market for 4L80's or Tremec T5's is a bit more complicated in Thailand. I can't imagine many vehicles sold in your neck of the woods came with a 4L80. A mildly built one should be able to take the power with ease, and a manual valve body will be amazing. Look at Stadium Super Trucks for example. They use this setup and take heaps of abuse. A G-Force 4 speed would really be fun though. :)

As someone who has been into muscle cars for years, I have a love for all types of enthusiast builds. I can appreciate a numbers matching, nut and bolt restoration. I can also appreciate a build like this one. That guy should have absolutely no worries when it comes to his build. It appears to be very well done, and his design choices from the seats to the wheels are spot-on. I'm REALLY looking forward to what you do with this track. You and Cleetus are my official go-to KZbin Track guys, lol.

Chad, I won't lie to you. I came to your channel starting from the pecular Isuzu racecar builds. However, when you transitioned at some point to a more "travelling oriented" channel, I wasn't against it, but wasn't for it either. However, seeing some mad CHOP and more cars back on the channel makes me SO HAPPY you're going back to your roots. And I LOVE IT. Nonetheless, this is always your channel and you're free to do as you like. Although my tastes with your videos would and will always lay with all these awesome racecars you document.

So glad you actually featured this build. Why it’s so taboo for some is lame. There’s a huge underground for this other than here in the states. But things are changing. Finally things like Cafe Racers made from the older Honda cruiser street bikes have caught on and they have cut out their own niche where you’re either crotch rocket or Harley. Growing up in Cali where anything went when it came to fashion and then Moving down to Florida where u had to run specific clothing a certain way was the only way. I’m so glad that it’s spreading all over to go your own way and people be open to it not just in Cali.
