Hi, in case you didn't catch it the audience is singing "on t'aime" which is "we love you" while "je t'aime" is "i love you". Makes it even powerful.

@@ReactionsByJeff She divorsed her husband the day before this concert. The audiance knew and the lyric change to 'We love you' was to help lift her spirit it was an idea from her pianist to surprise her he asked some of the public to do this and to spread the word.

@@randar1969 That is absolutely not true, y'all need to stop remixing this story... First, she was never married to her partner (Rick Allison), second this live concert taping took place in Dec 2001 (Concert dvd released in 2002) and she was still at the time with him. They ended things in may 2003, about a year & a half after this performance. Matter of fact, if you watch the actual full concert video, you'll see that Rick is invited out on stage at some point to perform with her "Tu es mon autre", a duet which they wrote together (like most of her songs pre break-up) and which she originally sings with Maurane.

Her fans love her and I can see way she pulls you into her live performances and you swear she's singing to only you. My wife's aunt was at the Lara with Love concert when she was in her late 20's she remembers it like it was yesterday that was 1999. Check out the whole concert each song has a video.

Wait until you hear the story behind this live performance! You will cry like a baby!... Lara was going through a rough time. Some of her fans approached the piano player and asked him to stop at a precise moment, hance her confusion, so they could sing to her, hance her emotional response... At 1:08 one of her fan says "Ne chante pas Lara!" (don't sing Lara!) which is why she gave the audience the chance to sing to her... At 1:21 she says "Là, vous m'avez prit de cour, là" (you totally suprised me!)... The original song says "Je t'aime" (I love you) but her fans sing "On t'aime" (We love you)... And by the way, Lara wrote that beautiful song... One of the most beautiful live performing moment to watch!...
