Habits are choices and actions that we subconsciously reproduce without thinking about it. The human brain is programmed to save energy and shape habits that allow it to work less. Hence the importance of automating your actions and routines as much as possible.
Almost 40% of what we do everyday is habits; which is good if these habits are healthy because it allows you to dedicate your energy to more interesting tasks.
