0:00 Prélude (Entrée) 2:58 Tiento (Offertoire) 6:17 Improvisation (Élévation) 7:56 Méditation (Communion) 11:34 Acclamations (sur le texte des Acclamations Carolingiennes) Thank you for this video! Clerc's performance is exceptional, and (to my knowledge) there are no other full recordings on KZbin.

I learned Suite Medievale my first year at Eastman of the University of Rochester. It's collection of musical ideas is so powerful, compelling...

I've listened to thousands of works for organ and this piece is definitely in my top 10 of all time.

Langlais is underrated. He was brilliant... A true genius with unlimited potential, soaring harmonies, and deep reverence for God. Gregorian Paraphrases Evangelical Poems Incantation For a Holy Day A drop in the bucket of some of the most beautiful music in the repertoire.

Reading Two Divided by Zero (Zero Rising Book 2) when the main character goes to church and hears Langlais. Fascinating description of what the music evoked in him. War, struggle, triumph.

Never consciously heard such thrilling music. What a genius! The registration leaves me speechless, too.

I have loved this great work of Langlais for many years. A wonderful performance and recording. For those of you who don’t get what all the fuss is about with organs and organ music, put on a good pair of headphones, 🎧 crank up the volume, and play the opening “Prélude.” You’ll get it then. 😎🎹

The middle section is calming. A fast brook running over stones while the fairies cavort in a forest. Then the king returns in triumph.
