This is Joscho at his best. He has crazy technical chops. But a lot of the time he over plays. Not on this one. This is really one to savour. Wish he'd put this on his next recording. I'd be the first to buy it.

Papillon is on Joscho Stephan & Helmut Eisel Quartett 's recording "Gypsy Meets the Klezmer" Its not as wonderful as this though.

@@mrswimmyboy Yes, thank you. I agree. The studio version is not up to the KZbin version. In fact, I find virtually all of Joscho's recordings to be sub par vs what I typically see on KZbin. Think he needs a really good producer. Don't feel he's been properly recorded as yet.
