Having now watched it entirely it is a bit of nonsense, but Jeanette is gorgeous as ever and it’s fun to watch if not taken too seriously 😊

Yes, the plot is rather silly but to hear Jeanette sing "Liebestod" and act the forerunner of her character in "Rose Marie" is worth the price of admission! But one can understand why she only stayed with Fox studios for 3 films and then left Hollywood altogether for a European concert tour.

Jeanette so full of energy, On handsome Denny I researched he did sing in opera for a while and was a great entrepreneur in the airplane business.
