This is the one year, 2020, where “Losing Weight” is not my New Years resolution. I started Ketogenic Diet (lifestyle) in April. I was 213 pounds. I’m over forty and thought I was never going to be a healthy weight again. I ended up losing 83 pounds in four months. The only exercise I did was walking and some light weights at home. I’ve been Keto for nine months and I’ve been maintaining my healthy lifestyle just fine and I’m currently 130 pounds. Moral of the story, you’ve got this! Get healthy, not just skinny.

that could be considered plant based. media has made plant based the same as vegan but plant based can be literally whatever the individual wants as long as meat isn't the main focus. the main course being veggies with a side of meat, eating meat/dairy once a week, eating meat/dairy only when eating out, keeping eggs and/or honey in the diet, etc

Lena Bean yes, I agree. Western diet of processed foods, very bad. I have given up all processed foods. I do eat free range chicken eggs every day. We raise chickens, they run around our 2 acres and eat bugs all day.

I stepped on the scale on January 1, 2017 after avoiding it for so long because I could see the obvious weight gain and I was 299 pounds!!! I'm going to try to lose it and keep it off. I went from 199 down to 135, and now 4 years later back up to 195 (started at 203). By June I want to see 140, its a little over two months so I hope that helps me out. I have never felt so motivated in my life so I hope I succeed.

It is difficult when you work 12hr shifts and it takes a lot out of you. I'm in a catch 22 because I know the healthier I feel the better I can deal with a stressful job, it's just the journey getting there. You're video is very inspiring. I've actually already started my diet but it has been low carbs low sugar diet. I've lost almost 10 lbs without exercise for the least 2 weeks but now and I'm incorporating at least 15min of cardio on my elliptical and hand weights routine. I'm 5'7" wt was at 270, biggest I've ever been! Thank you for sharing your journey! I'll do more veggies and fruit!

I work 12 to 14 hour and thats my fasting time. I notice when I dont eat at work I have way more energy by the end of the day and I lose alot of weight while fasting. My first week I was down 15lbs from fasting itself. I drink water, coffee, and tea only while a work.

@@EvaDWMediTele69 I have always struggled with my weight. But what really worked for me was eating 5 or 6 small meals a day, so around 1500 calories a day (1800 calories a day if I was working out). What Im about to try is not eating after 4pm. Im typically winding down my day by then and dont want anything heavy on my stomach anyway. Anyhow, I find this helpful and motivating when we all comment and encourage each other👏👏

Unfortunately, I didn’t use the whole quarantine to get healthy but I am determined in 2022 to take back my health, change my view of eating, adopt a healthy lifestyle (cook home more and eat less fast food) and start running again! I’m so glad I heard so many people have been losing weight like this. I’ve lost 34 lbs in about two months and people started telling me I have cancer or some disease and I need to go get checked, it scared the crap outta me. I went from 3300 cals a day to 1200 overnight and ate nothing but high protein, no processed Whole Foods and veggies plus 120-170oz water a day. Never felt better. They had me so scared to gain weight I started eating crap again just to see I if the weight would come back. So so so many “health” sites tell you losing over 10ths a month is a problem and here I am like wtf I must be dying. Thank god many people have lost even more and they are good. Thanks!

Girl you look amazing and I'm so happy that you are happy with your weight loss. My wake up call was in June when I went to the doctor and not only was I at my highest weight of 243 but I also was in the pre diabetic range. That was a hell no for I'm not about to get diabetes for the love of sweets and over eating. So here I am on my fitness journey as well. For anyone on this same journey we can do it! We have to stay focused and motivated. 💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻

I’m in the same boat...at 237 lbs and prediabetic. I don’t want to develop diabetes but I am struggling getting my eating habits together. I go to the gym at least 3 times a week.

@@jenjimac4612 you've got this! It gets better, Just stay consistent and things will fall into place. I did Keto the first 5 months of my journey and then recently switched to a balanced healthy diet. I now also do weight training.

Please guys! Do not compare yourself cause we have different body types and that does do something with weight loss and weight gain! She did an amazing job but don’t be sad or mad at you if you stick on to her plan but aren’t seeing the same results as she did in 2 months 😭❤️ just focus on yourself and love yourself ❤️

This is so motivational! I would like to lose 30-40 lbs and get back to 150, a weight I was comfortable with and still had curves. But every time I think about going to the gym I take a depression nap instead 😢 My gym is opening a location closer to me soon so I wanna hit the ground running!

I need to lose the same amount of weight too and 140 to 150 was a good weight for me. I started just dancing to music I enjoyed at home for an hour, I few days a week. I am gonna add free weights. I eat pretty food already but gonna cut back on carbs.

Ladies just stay motivated and lose that weight ! Remember to find what works for YOU ! I just had my first baby and I gained a lot of weight. I was 173 pre pregnancy and that was ideal for me. Now I've lost 40 lbs so far since November 12th! 30 more to go ! You can do it beauties ! ❤️🙌

This is awesome. Some might say this was drastic because somebody told me healthy weight loss is about 2 lbs a week.
