Maxwell, you handled this situation with respect and maturity. There are many adults that could take a lesson on how you handled yourself in the store and then calling the insurance company yourself when you got home. Jean, I too would have wanted to have a good cry afterwards. I'm glad you are home and settled in with a quilt and a cup of tea. Tomorrow is another day ❤❤

First I have to apologize because I had a chuckle listening to your video!! I chuckled because I've been through it myself! Many years ago my babies and I were on the WIC program, thank goodness for such a program to help with formula and nutritious food for children and new moms! Well, every time I went to the, "Giant" I had issues also! Anyway , thank you so much for sharing, I hope everything goes smoothly from now on for Maxwell and you! Take care and Happy New Year with much health and happiness!

Dear Jean, what a horrible experience you and Maxwell had, respect to you both especially for Maxwell in keeping his head and finally getting things sorted. I hate the self serve checkouts, I only use them if I have a couple of items. Hope the rest of your day was better, love to all the Trueloves.🏴. Ps how is Ian doing?

Most employees that work at any store doesn't know all the rules when people are using supplemental insurance cards, so I happy that Maxwell came through this ordeal without getting sick. Have a blessed day!

Lots of time I think the tech world has actually made our lives more difficult. Way to over come and survive your tech issue. Maybe contacting the insurance company and sharing your issue they can do something so there’s no repeats. Thanks for sharing and staying strong. 👍❤️😊

So sorry for the issues you two experienced. Like you and Maxwell I had a terrible 3 hours trying to get my cell phone service changed from ATT to Consumer Cellular to lower my bill from $150.00 to 50.00 per month. ATT has terrible consumer service.

“Sort of lovely”😂 It makes me crazy how complicated everything is now with all this automated stuff from huge companies. Them trying to make their life easier is making our lives harder! Good for Maxwell sticking with it till there was a resolution! He deserved hours of playing video games. And Jean , you needed a cup of tea with your PB&J to have while covered with your pretty quilt contemplating how many days you can stay home!

I don't have autism and I have meltdowns at checkouts when the technology breaks down... I call all this artificial stupidity... these organisations are becoming too dependent on computer systems which are totally inefficient. Maxwell did really well to hold out top marks for sorting it out Maxwell.

I have this insurance and trying to get a person to talk to is a major undertaking! Then, trying to explain what the problem is, as they seem to have selective hearing. By the time you're done on the phone, the battery is dying, your patience is long gone, and 90% of the time you're in tears by the time you're done! The paperwork just to get the insurance is another major pain. I understand why, as I used to work with the Federal Government and then an insurance company... I get paperwork! But, my sister somehow gets hundreds of dollars for food, hundreds of dollars for all kinds of things. I get little to nothing. I've completed forms for a free cell phone as I can't afford one. After I pay rent, utilities, and TV(with a landline and WiFi), I have $150 for the next 30 days! 😢

Walmart has such a strange checkout. They make you do self checkout to save money on paying checkers. Then they pay people to monitor and oversee you during the checkout process because, surprise, people were stealing using the self checkout process. Makes no sense. I only use the Walmart online ordering and pickup or have them deliver my groceries. The advantage is that I don’t have impulse purchases.
@donnarichey144Күн бұрын
That sounds like our flex card with my upmc health insurance. My son can use his for food. I can use part of mine for co pays with doctors and the other has to be over the counter things like aspirin vitamins. I would like to use for food too. No you can't.
@susanmei9980Күн бұрын
I’m so sorry you guys were put thru that nonsense. I keep getting offers that say, if you switch to our health insurance, you will get $$ worth of free dental & eyecare, as well as free groceries and over the counter meds. I didn’t believe it. My mom kept getting talked into stuff like that when she was still alive, but it only worked at certain dentists, certain eyecare places, etc. (not the ones where she wanted to go) and what a nightmare to try and switch it back to the previous plan. So I’ve been convinced it’s a scam. Pls let us know how it works for med stuff too. Nobody needs that kind of stress! 😢 Let us know if it works better, next time. Hot bubble bath and hot chocolate might help fix you up and bring you back down to earth. 🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗

I’m tired of all of this app stuff. Some restaurants want you to download their menus. No thanks. I feel bad for older people who have trouble with all of this technology. It’s not like everybody wants to have a cell phone either… I went to get a flu shot today and we had made an appointment at Walgreens, when you get there they want you to check in via QR code. Ridiculous. Shove all that crap.
