Recommendation: Take Hire yourself a baseball card expert and agree to pay him 0.5% of net profit on the items > $300 (the thinking here is you have the customers for that). Your contract with your expert needs to include a clause that all evaluations are done under either strict supervision or cameras. If your expert recommends you sell through Sothebys or another auction house in order to get max payment, you evaluate his report and the auction house claims. Good luck!

A few years ago, I was surprised to hear young people not be familiar with Jim Nabors as Gomer Pyle, either in Mayberry or the Marines. not hardly. cards are hard to move. most place will pay a penny per card in unsorted lots. nobody wants the work and sports cards do not hold the value they used to. collectors arent what they were back in the day

@@jc3930 There's two videos full of things he found in the unit. I think he'll do just fine with it. A unit like this really just explodes your inventory. Some of the good stuff will sell quickly. Some of it he can move through lots/auctions And others he'll just have to be patient with and let them go slowly on ebay "buy it now's." Figure the primo stuff he can unload within a couple of weeks and make his money back right there. He can do some strategic lots/auctions over the next couple of months to maybe double his investment. And then "the rest" just becomes long term patient hold inventory, and money trickles in from that for years as long as you have the right warehouse space for it.

WOW is all I can say about this unit. I love all the Nascar collectibles and cards. My room is done in Nascar . My hubby would flip if he saw all the other sports cards . He has quite a collection . I love the Orioles, especially Cal Ripkin Jr. I have a little collection of his items . This unit had me from finish to end . Congrats on such a great buy .
