Where can we find the discs themselves? And then there is a case that he needs some intervention on the crown with the pinion for the gap that must have been adjusted somehow for the best use of the differential? Your video is very nice, congratulations

I bought the plates on ebay

You should not need to adjust your ring and pinion gear contact pattern if you're not setting up new gears. Just put any adjustment shims back where you found them.

@@gogmorgoawaywould i need to adjust ring and pinion pattern if i wanted to install a new lsd carrier or new spider gears? and also does the spider gear needs some type of new measurement or can i just use the new and or/ old shims and call it a day?
@pitzz84 Жыл бұрын
IMO opinion you don't have to remove the carrier, yesterday I removed spider gears and LSD clutches from my D35 without moving the carrier. Tomorrow I'm putting it together with new Spicer parts and hopefully I will do with the carrier in place.

Ok, I'm taking it back - it's completely senseless/pain in the a** to do it without taking out the carrier 😂 Just finished rebuilding D35 LSD. The main problem I had was to put the second spider gear washer in place. And after couple of hours of fighting I removed the carrier and did it in no time.

In the rear? Is it a DD by chance? I was curious how that would drive on the streets, manual transmission and it’s my DD

Which way does the "Cupped" clutch plate go? Up or down -in first or next to gears?..... Way to just skip over one of the more important steps...

Does the ring gear have to come out? Can it stay on the carrier?
@pitzz84 Жыл бұрын
The ring gear can stay on the carrier - no need to take it off.

How many miles did the jeep have on it when you had to do the clutches? No problem with new clutches and other parts being original?
@Adikxx2 жыл бұрын
Car had 100k miles when LSD started being problematic. Zero issues after replacing the clutches.
@EC201214 ай бұрын
I dont get why you had to put those screws there. you could have taken the spider gears easy without doing all that. :(
@Adikxx4 ай бұрын
@@EC20121 Clutches keep them preloaded, they wouldn't even budge thus they need to be squeezed in order to be released. YOU ARE CLUELESS.

It's Dyna 35. Track lock limited slip diff.

@@Adikxx yes, but is this a vari lok LSD system or something else?
@Adikxx3 жыл бұрын
It's a track lock LSD with preloaded clutch packs. Vari lock diffs were available in later Jeep models like Grand Cherokee WJ.

I run my Wagoneer 1980 on a 1B Toyota diesel... funny? That's what one has to do here with fuel price hikes. I need to discuss some issues...
