Any idea where to buy power steering pressure hose for a 1980 Jeep CJ7? Not on Ebay, Amazon O'reillys etc. It has to have a flared end on the pipe and not the set back with the o-ring. I got my ignition switch fixed, steering column all back together, key working, and now this.

Rockauto, Quadratec, Morris 4x4. But I’d start with Rockauto first. Mine are Sunsong.

@@coolguy_CJ7 thank you for reply, my son said try NAPA because they build hydraulic hoses. So I went there and the the guy says "can't help ya" but... he figured out that the hose for my 1980 CJ7 is actually the one for the 1979. Even thought what I originally bought said 1976-1983. Also the power steering pump itself is one for 1979.

I need your help cool guy. I have a 77 cj7 . Want to do power steering conversion. I have a few parts, but I don't know the bolt size, the belt part number, and some other stuff. I been looking all over the web, and cannpt find the answers. You are about the only person who has anything remotely close to a well documented breakdown.

Well let's start with what engine size you have. Rockauto should have you belt size and the feed and return fluid lines. I will check the bolt sizes and post again.

Is it possible that my Cj7 78 Golden Eagle did not came with power steering? It is a UK model I don't know if that can be the reason...😣

Is it a right side drive? Even though it was a package setup, you could order your CJ ala' carte. So it could totally be possible to not have power steering. The difficulty is that there is no trim code on the VIN plate that verifies it as a golden eagle, laredo, or renegade. It is completely dependent on the amenities that is has.

Ha! Sorry for your frustration. Should've watched the video earlier :) Go to your local autoparts store that rent tools and get a pulley puller. Pull the pulley wheel off, get everything cleaned up and then use the pulley press part of the kit to put the pulley back on. Not a big deal.
