Thanks for the shout-out B-Rad! Def looks a bit tight but nothing like that sharp rock at Windrock!

Some really nice rigs! I love that people are wheeling relatively stock vehicles. And, I love seeing the modified WK2s. Does everyone have GMRS or are you all using some other radio for communication?

Thanks we always have a good time. Mostly just using midland walkie talkies. Nothing fancy.

Hi, Brad…an outing in a place worthy of being called a…Minoan Labyrinth! 😅 Truly tight in a few places.

@@ProdigalOverland thanks, indeed I am; my herniated discs are getting much better with the sea swimming in the warm Mediterranean waters.

Was Daniel’s GC in 4x4 high or low? I’m not familiar with how the WD-2 works in the WK-2 but I know on my WK-1 in 4x4 high power is sent up front automatically as determined by rear wheel slip but when you shift to 4x4 low the driveshafts are locked together like in a Wrangler. So if I’m in any off road situation that I know I’ll need instant traction I always use 4x4 low…it also disables traction control

He was in 4 low. He found out when he got back home that his front axle needed replacing.

@@ProdigalOverland Interesting I didn’t think these had any kind of axle disconnect and if you got no drive to the front axle you were more likely to have a transfer case problem (not sending drive up front). On my WK because they use clutches to send the drive up front I always changed the transfer case fluid every 30k miles. Same with the QD-2 differentials. Stinky job but pays off!
