Hey man I actually don't have it anymore. I sold the hard top. But it wasn't anything fancy. I just uses a few 2x6's and put eye hooks on each end. Marked studs in ceiling and then drilled 4 eye hooks into it. Then I just used ratchet straps to slowly raise it up. So it was a total of 2 boards, 8 eye hooks, and 4 ratchet straps.

Nice job. I need to do this on my '98. I have a Durango box on there now but it didn't hold up too long. Was thinking of putting on a PSC but they are quite expensive.

Redhead boxes comes with ATF in it . But our jeeps use power steering fluid . What did u end up filling it with ?

It's covered at 27:56 in the video. I used atf because that's what my year TJ calls for.

@@WheelinWithWally yeah I just saw that . We have two different TJ's mines 97 calls for power steering but since redhead box came with ATF in it . I filled it with ATF . I checked with my jeep gods and they said I was fine for using ATF . We'll see I guess . But this box is great . I had the boat driving feeling too that's def gone .

It doesn't really "come with ATF in it." Maybe some residual from being bench tested, but not enough to worry about. Before 2002, you should use Mopar Power Steering Fluid. 2002-2006 can use ATF+4

How’s the box holding up , I have 33” tires think it would work fine for me ?

It's holding up great. I've had no issues with it at all. It should work great for you

@@6alw111 I've had no issues with it. As for if it's worth it or not that would just depend on how worn out your current one is. Mine was pretty sloppy and this tightened up my steering a lot. So to me it was worth it.

@@6alw111 I'm sure it could. It's just a very nicely rebuilt factory steering box. That's why they give you money off if you send in your old one as a core.
