Does your Jeep WJ make an annoying squeak, rattle, or noise at lower speeds or when lightly braking? Does it seem to go away as you brake harder? While these noises can be several things, a common culprit for this noise, esp. in the rear, are worn slider channels on your caliper anchors. This is where the pads contact from the floating caliper on the anchor. In this video we show you how they go bad, and how you can either fix yourself with a welder and grinder, or by purchasing an inexpensive rebuilt unit.
