Jeep Wrangler 125 volt AC Charging Port Plug Install

I got tired of having to open the hood to access my onboard battery maintainer so I installed a 125-volt AC charging port into the driver's side fender, where the Trail Rated badge once was. I purchased the NOCO GCP1 but found that the 6ft length was a bit too short, making wiring the cord end somewhat difficult. So, I would recommend the 12ft version (GCP1EX) instead and cutting it about 6" longer than mine. Here is an Amazon link to the 12ft NOCO GCP1EX charging port:
