Jeff Bridges is a great actor, son of another great actor Loyd Bridges and he's also a really funny and adorable man ....."The Big Lebowski" is one of those movies that you gotta watch once in a while to make your life shine....it's just perfect in every aspect with a bunch of "huge" actors....simply amazing film!!!

Lloyd Bridges was not a great actor. Just a good character actor. And as much as I think the big labowsky was a terrific movie, it was not so because of Bridges or Goodman. They were lucky to be perfectly cast. Given perfect scripts. And have phenomenal directing. I know fans will be upset and pissy about the comments. But movie fans constantly give actors way too much credit for great movies. I get it. To them the actors are the face movie. Not to say that there aren't great actors that can take a decent movie and make it much more than that. But Bridges and Goodman as entertaining as they were, are not Daniel Day Lewis or Tom Hardy.

@@rman52 Well, he has performed in over 150 movies, probably not all of them were pure gold but he sure can be recognized as a good actor, going from drama to comedy, western to adventure movies. So yes, to me he's a great actor and I will remember him in movies such ad Hot Shots and Airplane which are not considered serious movies but are for sure as funny as hell.

It was a mistake not to make a 2nd film. There are lots of 2nd films that do quite well. Star Trek bombed originally then became a smash hit that lasted many decades. Alien, Aliens, etc. There was so much more story in there if Phillip Seymour Hoffman and David Huddleston (he played the Big Lebowski rich guy character) were still alive. By the time it became obvious that TBL was a huge hit - this was around 2000 or so - everyone who acted in the film was still around. I sincerely wish they had done a sequel. It was a huge mistake in failing to do so. Jeff Bridges, if you're reading this, it's not too late. Even though PSH and DH are gone, everyone else is still around. MAKE THE SEQUEL. You guys are the only ones who can do it.
