I felt a similar (yet, obviously, not the same) experience with the quite disturbing because real The Loudest Voice with Crowe. Something raw, perhaps, an evil Will McAvoy to some extent. But the fact that it is based and most likely watered down version of true human scums makes it even more memorable, in my opinion.

@@1famekouby that's...so incredibly stupid. we're talking about reality, not stupid theories to make yourselves feel better. anyone, on any side, who runs for president has a ego-boosting desire. Anyone who tries to be in charge of anything, politics business even just a household does so due to an ego drive. Sometimes you get a capable person, sometimes you don't but there's always ego. You think they spent all that money and pandered to every group because they want to lose? Come on, you're better than that. "any legitimate pundit" more like any pundit who needs to fill talking time on the air by pulling nonsense out of their ass. They lose because they fail to capture the emotional fervor that the right has. That's just common sense, when one side has the most religious voters and their pastors are telling them to vote for a candidate because he's sent by god then *of course* he's going to win compared to the side that can only say "hey, this is what we think will work, what do you think about it?".

I wish I was as morally superior as Jeff Daniels, I wish I had supported a woman who profited at the expense of poor Haitians, laughed when the child rapist she defended beat a polygraph and was cleared of a rape charge, whose failed foreign policy in Libya led to Americans being murdered which she in then lied about, who terrorized her husbands sexual assault victims, takes six figure speeches on Wall Street where she stresses the importance of having public and private stances on the same issue, intentionally mishandled classified information, and exchanged political favors for cash under the front of a phony foundation. The manufacturing jobs aren't coming back. We shifted long ago to a service centered economy. There have to be adequate re-education transitional programs. You cant fight, technology or the already emergent global economy. Rather, smart economies thru firms change to match and outpace fiscal economic trend. The only way to do that is what I previously mentioned above alongside improving technology for efficiency. Efficient products mean better cost to consumer and ensure a sustained workforce.Ppl have to also evolve with technology. Our sickness is we are allowing only one branch of this needed partnered evolution bc of shortsightedness or nativism.

@BeingBadAtMaths
@BeingBadAtMaths 5 жыл бұрын
@@BolshevikChris Here's the thing: the current welfare systems that are in place have too much bureaucratic red tape that you need to go through just to receive the benefits. Couple that with the fact that if you get a job again and the gov't finds out that you can financially support yourself or your family again, the benefits will be cut for most of those programs. The pre-conditions are not attractive and does not give the individual a sense of optimism for the future. On the other hand, the Freedom Dividend is given to you NO MATTER YOUR ECONOMIC SITUATION. Sick, healthy, poor, rich, jobless, job... You will (in theory) always receive the $1,000 just for being a citizen of the US; a RIGHT. PLUS: you still come out ahead if you decide to opt-in to the FD, AND it will stack with SSDI; essentially an add on for social security. It's a win-win for the economy and the individual, able to take off the existential and economic stress of those that are just struggling to get by. As to your second question, Yang is not funded by any corporation or Super PACS. He is simply getting by (and I would argue) rising simply on the donations of individuals who see that he is not a charlatan like Trump. The only reason why he is running for president is because of the problems that we are dealing with now, as well as what he foresees if we do not alter our trajectory. The Freedom Dividend is a response to the coming wave of automation and AI that will eradicate the jobs that most people take for granted. What good is a $15 minimum wage or tax cuts to the rich when the every day American can not find a job? He is not concerned with shareholders like Trump: He is concerned about the future of t(his) country, and unlike the other Democrats that are running, he has ideas and solutions that can bring America to a new future in the 21st century. I would hope you can learn a little bit more about him if you haven't already and really dig deep into his broader vision for the country, and I hope my comment was a sufficient response. :) #Yang2020 #YangGang

What makes Jeff Daniels so remarkable as a man and an actor is his combination of fiery passion and sober reason. Like his newsroom scene when he declares America is no longer the best country in the world. Acting 101. Even when he swears its because no other words give that condition justice. In Gettysburg, Good Night and Good Luck, Newsroom and To Kill a Mockingbird he is the actor of choice. Only Jeff Daniels could possibly compete with the great Gregory Peck as the iconic Atticus Finch. He is simply the finest actor active in the world today. If only he would run for President. Unfortunately for us, modesty is his greatest virtue.

Pete Buttigieg has been addressing the industrial Midwest since the beginning and in fact it was the reason he began his campaign. He has in fact already found new ways to bring jobs to a city that used to be entirely reliant on manufacturing jobs and completely revitalized the city. Not to mention he has experience leading in government/politics, military experience, and plans for democratic structural reform (one of the main reasons I'm voting for him), addressing the climate crisis, and the Douglass plan to combat racial inequity

As a black man myself I truly hate black victimhood and white guilt. Black people and white people are human beings along with other ethnic racial groups. So I don’t need anyone to pity me at all because it makes me cringe. This is what they should be teaching the younger generational people about life. Here are four simple steps to have a less troubled life; step one: graduate from high school, step two: do not have children before you get married, step three: hold down a job and step four: do not commit crimes. If you follow these four simple steps your life would be less harder. I have a message for all human beings in this world for the last time you cannot demand love you cannot make someone like you just because somebody does not like you that does not mean your a horrible person and especially it does not mean your oppressed. The truth about human nature is that you cannot fix people it is up to people to fix themselves period. Forcing someone to like you is similar to someone forcibly to respect you when respect must be earned just like love should be earned. If you have not done anything wrong to anyone in your life then you obviously do not have to apologise, or beg for forgiveness, or even feel guilty or even carry a weight on your shoulder so grow up and live your life normally with those who are closer to you like your families and your long time friends. I understand we humans all want love, respect and support but you cannot get everything you want so be grateful for all the good things that you have in your life. If you think the world owes you something then that makes you a paranoid sad individual.

What Jeff Daniels said was really enlightening. I'm glad he worded it so well and that it's easy to understand. When we look at politics we look at things that are prioritized. The problem is people and their livelihood AREN'T prioritized. Someone I know said I should become a politician and you know what I said? I said I don't know enough. I want someone who's going to know what they need to. The exact same thing Jeff Daniels said! Knowing this, it makes me happier to know great minds thing alike. We need educated professionals in november 2020. We need them to know who and what to pick to fill the very needed roles in the white house. Trump only has a fraction of what should be in the white house in terms of people employed to do what America needs done. We need justice and accountability in our country. If that means locking away the rich and elites for their crimes, then good. Justice needs to be had. There's a lot more too. To anyone reading this, thank you. Vote him out and lets get our country back from the traitors.
