That's what makes Jeff so amazing. If you truly focus on his puppets instead of him it really gives you the impression that Peanut is real. And that's something very important for a comedian like him.

Ppl need to stop with the kid leash thing. My son is 4 and autistic, and non verbal, he has disappeared in a split second without a sound before, it’s a great way for him not to run off when we are in crowded places. And also so he don’t run into the road cuz he doesn’t understand what a car can do. Let the leash thing go, it’s great for special needs children. And helps save lives this way.

The correct term is lead, not leash, as in you are leading them along....in fact, they used to refer to them as "leading strings."I used a harness and lead on all of my children when they were small. My children never whined because their hands and arms were tired from being held up all the time...my children never took off running without coming to the end of the lead, and I always knew where they were!. It gives children a bit of freedom, but within safe limits. They are parental lifesavers, and can be a child's lifesaver as well.
