For anyone with a deep interest in Feldenkrais, this is a wonderful lecture that contains so much content of value, and is delivered with specific accuracy and tangible take outs. Thank you for being a source for deepened understanding of the concepts with which Feldenkrais teachers are working, that picks and elaborates upon up the contents of the books that were written many decades ago now.

Wonderful and inspiring lecture. Spontaneity is choice, without which we are robots. Parallel to JL Moreno's work and philosophy.

yes, excellent! wonderful:). of course, can always hear more. I like the comparisons you make with other modalities in terms of awareness, peace, and function, not to mention the changes in emotional freedom, anxiety and personality reformation.

Excellent, relatable talk. There should be more recorded and available lectures like this, to preserve the stories about Moshé Feldenkrais. About discovering neurosis/historic muscular habits: it almost sounds like discovering carnism (as defined by Melanie Joy). And maybe equally easy to replace? In that light a fascinating subjecting. Carnism is an obstructive, damaging, life defining, underlying belief system that people pick up from the environment without being aware of it. But it also gives them a sense of safety, very much like historic muscular habits. And very much like behaviour and habits, people will not give up carnism until they find something better to replace it with. I'm not saying that Feldenkrais is the equivalent of a plant based diet, but still I find it an interesting revelation that came to me through your talk. And food is much, much easier to think about than mindfulness or psychotherapy. Thanks!

How's interesting - i sat Zen with a Soto and a Rinzai temple for about 15 years, i always found it to be akin to zen..ie mind, existence!!

Nice lesson for me it crosspollinates the practices of yin yoga and natural movement. Gives me a clearer context for why moment's of freedom unfold with purpose an arising of spontaneity

This is fascinating, thank you! I am especially grateful to hear you discuss the difference between sensing and moving as this is something I've become intrigued about lately. I've been looking for material to learn from about this without much success, is there something you could recommend?

I noticed an aggression towards others during the presentation. I was impressed with the grace shown by the female participants.

I mean the fight part of fight or flight reaction to fright. Would you still consider that the fight reaction a contraction? Thank you!!
