Jeff Staple is a good example of someone who grows up in the "hood" but doesn't speak like he's from the "hood". No disrespect to anyone who speaks that way who grew up in an urban area, but I always wonder why guys like the Fung Bros. and Richie sound like they grew up in the hood when in fact they grew up in Seattle. Lol.
@ceeIoc8 жыл бұрын
kawaiiafangirl they don't speak like they're from the hood at all. A little slang here and there is just part of pop culture.

Jeff is an incredible designer and he seems like a likable guy. I must digress though. He is no founding father of "street wear ". We were wearing this so called "street wear since my days in Brookyn N.Y. 1978 . Asian , white , and most other nationalities , runways, fashion magazines and many media entities skewed our styles as "ghetto". Still its interesting to see over the years "streetwear" gain recognition after its appropriation.

Emre Ka common sense says check the site to see if there's a lookbook or a link to previous lookbooks to get the information on the name of the jacket... maybe u can get a number from the site... to see... if u can ask customer service if there was a way u could view their entire previous line... obviously
