Thanks Jeff these very encouraging and very inspiring talks (as well as your very helpful drawing fundamental online program) since the training can seem at times long, lonely, and purposely: your ideas and advices make more interesting to hang on. I also agree with you that the best way to face up to negative homeostasis is to focus on diligent since nothing pretty much can't defeat the inner strength and confidence that comes from honest practice despite one's limitations, self-resistance and/or passion to learn more. Best.

Only thing I wouldn’t agree with is Jeff’s definition of focus, it’s important to practise and be concentrated on the matter at hand, be in the moment, but I’ve often found that “Ah Ha!” moments or revelations about ones work or efforts come with an open mind, a mind that is also playing and relaxed.
