Especially social media, it’s a bunch of fuckin noise, especially now political discourse is at an all time high, people talking about the recent police shooting. My parents speaking on these news This person sending me 4-5-6 memes at a time. This comment I left on a video on titktok is getting all this engagement. My focus is thrown way off. Im forgetful on top of working 60 hour weeks I’m drained mentally and physically Time to go on another fast and just quit social media cold turkey for a while to reset

Preach it! Social media fast is huge! Or at least have a certain cut off period where you stop it completely. They want you to feel like you’re missing out on something. Yeah recent police shootings - they want to stir up emotions big time. They benefit greatly off negativity. Cops have power - some are dirty - I treat them all with respect but also as if they are dirty to begin with. I’ve had guns in my face, false calls on me, if you remain cool and calm you’ll walk out.
