I've had my MK3 for about six months now. It's a great tool to have, even though I do not use it to its fullest capacity. As a guitar player my Achilles heel was always programming drum beats to play along to. Sure there's the Logic loops and software drummer, but I've found by the time I find a loop I can use the inspiration is gone. The MK3 has allowed me to quickly create a drum beat to jam along to. It's a great creative tool that allows me to do get my ideas down quickly.

When sampling the Polybrute, you mentioned it can only sample one voice? There are 2 layers on polybrute, can you sample both, or only 1 at a time? Also if you connected a pedal to it, could the maschine auto sample both?

Thanks for all the great tutorials - Ive been watching your vids in anticipation of my Maschine+ arriving in a few days. ❓ Question: To cut down on CPU i would like to sample a reverbed synth pad loop on M+. (I like to strickly do asynchronous space ambient so lots of oads and lots of reverb). The problem is that with a long release on a pad, to create a nice seamless loop, the tail end need to blend in with the slow attack of next loop start. What is the best way to crossfade the loop start/end points? The audio editor does not have a paste mix option - which is how i do it now on my audio editor - but the point is to get away from the computer and work in the M+ exclusively. Thx

They finally released this new feature? Something i’ll probably never use but it definitely sounds useful. Creating my own patches like this is a ton of work and id rather be making music. Its why i buy sample packs and synth patches. Ive recently taken to programming sounds in Vital which is fun but overall i tend to stay away from things like this because its always so time consuming.

@robyoungsonphotography83972 жыл бұрын
Hi, thanks for the great videos keep them coming! I’m planning to make the Maschine Mk3 the centre of my production workflow. Here’s my question. I want one device (maybe the Erica synths fusion box) with some analogue effects, a filter, gain, delay to pair with it. Can I use the internal synth engines from NI, route the audio out, through those effects and re sample the effected audio as an auto sampled new instrument? So I could create a library of instruments with that analogue goodness baked in. And then is there a way to route just one group to outboard gear so I can use the analogue filter on that sound (without effecting the whole track) like an effects loop assignable to a specific group essentially. Sorry for long comment! Keep it up. R

Jef this is a fantastic walk through. I didn't realize how much sampling ability Maschine has. Agree that the Loop stuff needs fixing. There needs to be a few points: Start, Loop Start, Loop End, Play to end. Also having auto fade in and out choices would be useful too. How does one sample physical instruments. I assume that you don't use auto sample ?

Hi Jef! I know this is off topic question, but maybe you know how we can manage our maschine plus internal library? For example I need delete a lot of massive presets and samples, because few thousand it’s to much. And for optimisation of my workflow a want to keep just useable samples, presets and sounds. I know that I can tag it as a favourite, but I have a reason in my work flow, that is not good for me to tag hundreds presets. It will change for me feeling of device like more custom and my own. I know just we can reinstall whole library, but in this case a lot of my favourite presets will be delete. So I really want to send message to native instruments give us opportunity to manage our library or just delete unnecessary presets and sounds. What do you think? Thank u!

Outstanding Jef, outstanding. This is going to be super-useful for me as I've got the Make Noise 0-Coast & Strega on the way (don't ask - I don't know where the money's coming from but I know where it's going to..) so I'll be doing some major sound design with a view to sampling them into Maschine. (+ sequencing them with the Toraiz Squid via CV). Should you get a Maschine? Absolutely. I've had stuff by Moog, Polyend, Elecktron.. all sold, but I would never sell my Maschine MK3. That combination of hardware and software capability is unbeatable (IMO - obviously).

Hi Jef, I’ve been watching your videos and subscribed to your channel for a while now. In my opinion, you really do have the best Maschine tutorials out there and I have seen tons! Lol Your explanations and your style of teaching is so clear. Thank you for all that you do. Your content is awesome. I have a Maschine Studio and have been trying to find reasons to switch to MK3, but it seems that everything can easily be done in the software already. I have a UA Apollo, so I don’t necessarily need the sound card interface. Touchstrip is nice but also accessible through the software. Am I missing something? Lol I would switch if there were a few great reasons to do so. 🤣 I’d greatly appreciate any feedback on this. Please keep up the great work! Can’t wait for more Maschine tutorials! Thank you! 🙌
