You always have great stuff on working Maschine! I’ve been using Maschine for a little over 4 years, but I always watch your vids, because almost always you have a little workflow nugget I haven’t found or thought of yet. This one is all gold! I got my M+ in Nov. and I’ve written 250 tracks on it so far. And everything you discussed in this vid were my main pain points. What do you know about the ripcord issue? I was using Ripcord successfully for 3 1/2 months, and then the unit kept powering off on me. A replacement ripcord is on its way, but taking forever, but in the meantime I’ve heard these little murmurs that there might be issues... but nothing really concrete.

Oh... and you explained Blezz’ Massive creation better than HE did! I’m heading there now to get it.

Hey Jef i am curious if you managed that the Pianobook patches stay in the maschine + standalone cause mine looses the sound after 20 mins and also not show up with sound after saving the group with sound as i fear it is a licence problem cause it behaves like a demo version in kontakt somehow even these patches are free ones

Hey @jeff gibbons, when you say “you need to have kontakt 6 to load user patches” do you mean you have to have the full paid for liscence, ( circa £300 here in the UK) to load any user patches OR that the patches must have been created using kontakt 6? I assume it’s the former. If so seems like a strange restriction on NIs part given a version of kontakt is already on the M+. I have a M+ but no other NI products. I couldn’t get the free piano samples you mentioned to load but as you mentioned other users have been able to load kontakt patches generally. It’s very confusing, lol

Hey Jef! Thanks so much for all your content! Please start selling swag or open a patreon or something. I owe you more than just youtube views! The ask: I want to turn samples into synths. So take my daughter laughing and strech the audio and make it into a virtual instrument that can be played in keyboard mode. I know this would be easy to do in Kontakt on the computer but I would much rather do it on Maschine+, even if it's not as feature rich as full Kontakt. Also, serious about that swag or Patreon thing. Hell, sell some private lessons! I'll buy!
