While Jehuty vs BT-7274 seems like an interesting matchup, I think it's also kind of a stomp in one mecha's favor (I won't say which...). I personally think a better opponent for BT-7274 would be Bastion from Overwatch, as they are both deadly but friendly combat robots. Also, a better opponent for Jehuty would be the Turn A Gundam, as they are both physics-defying futuristic mechas that are buried away for years and then re-discovered. Would either of these matchups make for good Death Battles? What do you guys think?

Been waiting 2 weeks for it they've announced it on Twitter weeks ago (DeathBattle as well as Pat and Woolie's) I thought I missed it or was hidden behind a Paywall. Like the other person said Pat and Woolie as well as CSB is under the Rooster Teeth Affiliate programs, RT department actually came up with the Logo iirc, so cross-overs are bound to happen. Hope to see more in the future. Even though I had no clue what they were talking about it was fun listening to Pat and Woolie conversing with other nerds

Phase shift in titanfall mechanically works in 2 ways, as a pilot, you can phase shift into other pilots and kill them, but phase shifting into a titan will kill you. Phase shift as a Ronin titan kills pilots , but will kill Ronin if you phase shift into another titan unless you block (in which case it still does no damage to the enemy but you take reduced damage). Conceptually, perhaps in-universe you could exit phase as a pilot inside the cockpit of of another titan if you spaced it perfectly, but in tf2, that's not possible.

Would be damn near impossible to space it correctly to get inside of Jehuty's cockpit considering the speeds Jehuty is loving at. What they didn't touch on is that Zero Shift doesn't just teleport behind it's target back can teleport at any direction around it's target. The sides, infront of, above, below (if BT is hovering in the air) so not only would BT have to try and predict the use of Zero Shift but also what direction the frame is going to move in. That just ain't happening before Jehuty utterly blitzes BT into oblivion. The other thing that they forgot is that the Vortex Shield only protects the front of the Titan. The sides and back are unprotected. Jehuty's Home Lasers, bog standard basic weapon targets all parts from all directions of it's target. Some shots may hit from the front but many will come from the sides and back. BT will just be riddled with holes.

Lets not forget Jehuty's blade if charged can shatter the shield or if using comet just crumple the 4 meter mech like a tin can. Another feat to not sneeze at is another Idolo type called Dolores diving into the ocean at 300,000 KPH and 3 seconds later rocketing into low orbit without a scratch.

It is good that the reason for the fight is that Po and Iron Fist are just parring, even if it is to the death. Jehuty would tear BT to pieces before BT can start any program or let alone attack it. Even though I'm a Titanfall fan. I played both games but the robot match comparison is a waste of time. the robots from Zone of the Enders are far superior to those from Titanfall.

On the subject matter of the Time Travel mechanics, at the end of the level you can timewarp between the past and present while inside BT. This leads to some fun combos with firing a barrage of missiles, warping back and walking over where the enemy Titan was at, and warping behind to melee them as the missiles hit. THAT BEING SAID, Jehuty is just too much. But I'm glad it served a purpose of having tactics/pilot-ai teamwork vs raw godlike power.

Since you mentioned suggestions for giant robot match-ups, EVA-01 VS the Wing Gundam is one I've seen before and has the potential to be a cool fight

That boils down to basically, “Is your AT Field secure?” Buster Cannon probably takes this fight for Wing Zero. The Zero System makes it so that EVA 01 can’t land a decisive hit, and the Gundanium armor can handle the rest. Worst case scenario, Wing Zero can take to the air and wait out The Beast.

@@maxspecs As an avid Gundam fan...you're overestimating the Twin Buster Rifle, which isn't even relevant because he said WING Gundam, not the Wing Zero. However, let's pretend it IS Wing Zero. Many people think the Twin Buster Rifle annihilates colonies easily. That's not quite the case. Colonies are actually quite fragile and the Nahel Argama in ZZ Gundam managed to do that. The Twin Buster Rifle destroys colonies by targeting a weak point, most likely with the help of the ZERO System. I've spoken with Gundam Wing's writer personally and he even stresses that it was a group effort, not Heero himself, that allowed Wing Zero to destroy the Libra's falling block. Meanwhile, EVA Unit 01 AT BASE tanks N2 mines, which are nukes without the radiation. The Twin Buster Rifle is nowhere close to the power of an N2 Mine. Again, this is BASE Eva Unit 01. This isn't even including its God Form. Frankly, you need a high tier Gundam to even have a chance against Eva Unit 01.

The next battle is going to be very "AWESOME" battle between "DRAGON WARRIORS" =D The connections between Po and Iron Fist is that both are expert martial artists with a dragon-theme (Po being the Dragon Warrior (Po defeated 2 dragon demons (Ke-Pa and Jindiao) in TV series) and Iron Fist gaining his powers by slaying the dragon Shou-Lao). They can also wield chi in a variety of ways, including being able to shape their chi into dragons. Both were once relatively ordinary people, as well as heirs to a family business (Mr. Ping's noodle shop and Rand Industries), before being swept up in events that turned them into warriors. Both share a backstory of having lost their biological parents at a young age. Coincidentally, during the events where they lost their parents, they and their mothers were attacked by wolves, with their mothers being killed in the incident. Both are also core members of teams of heroic defenders (The Furious Five and various hero groups, but especially the Heroes for Hire and the Defenders, respectively)

Only thing about Jehuty is that it has to be grounded to use the Vector Cannon. ([EDIT] They eventually mention that, complete with the in-game audio. Nice!) Also, was Jehuty bound to the pilot, or was that just for the pilot's benefit in ZoE2? I seem to remember Jehuty was providing Dingo with life support for the entirely of ZoE2? _Would_ a gunshot while he's in the cockpit be enough? in ZoE2 after Dingo was shot by Noman, he was hooked up to Jehuty and the Frame becomes his Heart and Lungs, so i dont think it would, as he was hooked up to the Metatron power source and he was shot before and "dead" for month i think?

Titans from the titanfall series CAN move on their own. Moat noticeably they can be set to roam, defend an area, follow pilot, or defend pilot mode while the pilot isn't in the pit they can also be set to detonate their nuclear cores after safely ejecting their titan pilots

okay so in the game Titanfall, BT can actually time travel when jack cooper boards him he is able to switch the time gauntlet on and off and BT will be there with him, in the game where jack cooper finds this gauntlet off a dead pilot later on in that mission it is seen that he and BT can travel in time

You can very easily throw BT against some of the battletech mechs and they both are ground pretty well. The mechs in battletech are so much more “gritty” than most other robot series. Even though some battle mechs might be a bit bigger than the Titans, they’re still not too much crazier.

Battletech mechs are rather small only 14 meters tall at the extreme height.

@@barrybend7189 with battletech being such an expansive universe with so many writers, it’s hard to really say how tall most mechs are. However, most mechs are believed to be roughly on average 8-14 meters while some still go further below and beyond. A locust, which is one of the most common standard smaller mechs seen around, is about 6-7 meters while an atlas is said to be so big it can lift up medium mechs (45-55 tonnage) in its hands. I don’t know how big the mechs are in titanfall but they’re definitely smaller of course, but they definitely have some tech and tricks to make up for the size difference.
