This whole thing is so wild as an outsider that doesn't use tiktok. Its all so.. Dumb? Idk. Like just draw how you want and don't be a dick to other artists. I think too much importance is put on art styles. Your style is always gonna change and evolve, its not like a set in stone thing. Copying artists you look up to is normal and overtime your style will become a melting pot of all the stuff you find cool. Just keep drawing and you'll figure it out eventually, nothing is truly unique in this world and you'll get nowhere putting down people just trying to find themselves artistically. Also, you're allowed to not like art ofc, but going out of your way to put your peers down for making something that doesn't match your preferences comes off really entitled when you can simply just scroll and find something you actually like. There is a real person behind that drawing and you don't know how your mean comments could potentially hurt them yknow, we should be more mindful of these things. This was longer than i thought it would be but i think its something worth discussing, people are too comfortable with being rude and starting drama that really could've been easily avoided had they just turned off their phones and done something actually meaningful with their time lol

to me jelly art is more of a character design style than a drawing style. a boring ass character design style. 😅 that's why it's basic to me. it's not that the paintings aren't competent but the characters are all duplicates.

I think it is basic, stay with me- it's complex in shading but it's mostly the same thing again and again. I don't hate it but I see why most don't like it. Most you see that go popular is usually the same pose, same face. It's basic in the poses and it has very bad same face syndrome. Your art is the first I've seen that isn't the same in everything. Is that hate? No, I don't think so and I think it would be good to talk about it in a healthy way instead of arguing or deleting.
