I had the greatest of pleasure in meeting John Denver more than 40 years ago whilst he was appearing at the Apollo Theatre in London , & I had the opportunity to be in John's company on a number of occasions as a member of a group of fans, he was a spectacular human. being, & an absolute joy to be in the company of, he always showed tremendous interest in what anyone had to say, he was marvellous in debate. & extremely knowledgeable about life, & I could go on, but space dosn't allow.When John died, this planet lost one of its greatest & influential ambassadors on the environment, & without doubt, the greatest singer/ songwriter/ instrumentalist in a century. RIP my friend, you certainly made your mark. Terence Jon.

John Denver's music saved my life. I was critically Ill and his music helped me recover and learned to walk again. Thank you John. Even after all the years gone by. I was 17 now I'm nearly 60 I wrote a letter to John telling him what his music had done for me. He was on tour at the time in Europe. After three months he sent a note and photo signed by him and ive cherished it ever since. He kept that letter three months till he was back in Aspen before replying. He was indeed a very special person. Wish to God he was here now for the world could sure do with him.. Miss you so much. x

Yes you are right this world needs a lot more people like him. A person that expresses joy , wonder , tenderness , love , appreciation , humble and kind. I am sure our Lord is enjoying the song of his child John now in heaven that's where I would imagine he is . His music was a blessing from heaven.

Monday late afternoon 21 September 2020 and I just can not figure the thumbs downs on this video? I learned of him while in high school (by a good friend) and his music has been a pleasure to listen to ever since.

Amazingly beautiful! I’ve never heard this song before and I’ve loved John and his music for almost 50 years. Do you know if it’s on an album? The photos are just beautiful, too. Don’t know where you find them. Thank you so much for posting this. It’s a real treasure.

Others I searched for on the internet. I always put a lot of work in just photo selection for my videos.
