Jenna Ortega is correct, of course. You can't just gender swap and think things will be unproblematic. If Yanks desperately want to have gender equity and equality within entertainment and culture they should be aware that American society, for better or worse, isn't the most equal society in the world in that regard. For instance Scandinavian countries are often noticeably more so. So if Rachel Zegler would, for instance, play the child character Pippi Longstocking she could be great doing so. Even better if Americans can come up with more of their own characters like that, even if it could take some time.

the only reason this irritates me, is because we have several nationalities and languages that make movies protraying their personal race, ideals, etc. But Canada and The United States, feel like excluding citizens that actually portray these characters properly and replacing them with complete mockeries (different race, different story, CGI etc) is unproductive, excluding people meant for certain roles (dwarves), and frankly, degrading to men and women!

Just a tip for you, switch your camera to manual focus, set your shot and distance then zoom into your face, set your focus so you have a nice crisp focus on your eyes then zoom back out to your mid shot. When focus drops in an out as a viewer you get distracted by the focus shift and lose track of what you're saying 🤙🏻
