I have a Jennings Voyager with jazzmaster pickups and a mastery and it's fantastic. I think one reason that they may be able to keep the price down is that a satin finish with open grain (while I really like it on my Jennings) may not be as time consuming a process as glossier and more sparkly finishes. I do notice with most boutique builders that the price goes up substantially as you move from matte to solid color gloss to gloss metallic to gloss sparkle etc.

Hey there! I own a suhr alt t and my Voyager and they're both top tier guitars. They're similar in specs to a vintage/modern feeling fender and both have similar C shaped necks. The Jennings is a tad chunkier but not in a bad way. Playability wise, I do think my suhr is a more "shreddy" feeling guitar where it feels like I can play faster on it and has some modern elements to it that makes it easier to play. The Jennings feels a bit more vintage and isn't as modern feeling. I don't know how else to describe it and I'm not sure if that's helpful at all. The Jennings is probably one of the highest quality instruments I've ever played though. Just the attention to detail and the overall fluidity of the instrument is amazing

Yeah, I love the channel man you’re absolutely right Jennings makes a beautiful guitar. I was able to pick one up secondhand the fretwork the way the neck and the body meet the handshake the quality the guitar was phenomenal. I didn’t buy it your reason why was I didn’t like the pick ups that were in it? They were more of a Jazzmaster styleI will tell you I reached out to Jennings and Mr. Chad Jennings. Cell answered the phone to help me with my inquiries to this used Guitar the quality control the attention to detail the customer service about this guitar is phenomenal.

That's a beautiful guitar, and you get some nice tones out of it. I had some Cremas in a PRS CE24 and I just could not gel with them. Everyone's different, for sure, though.

Had one of these, solid guitar and bummed I had to sell it. One thing I would have changed was the pickups to something like the cremas
