I agree with you 100 percent, everything has gone downhill after George Bush became president.... and how artists weren't allowed to express themselves anymore (example: Dixie Chick, etc.) It was really weird. Then Afghanistan and that entire scenario. Also 9/11 was a planned project, so was Sandy Hook, and other events they are all tied together. It just wasn't the same after all that happened, and it never will be. Technology will just rise and people will get more out of control. The violence and shootings are just the beginning of it. How can we as a nation do something about all this? It's either we rise or "they" rise . I hope and pray one day that it all disappears but it doesn't seem like that will happen.

How sad. If child services were not involved after this aired then they've failed this child. And the audience makes me sick. She's 15. A baby. Who clearly never stood a chance with a mother who uses her in the same way a pimp would use some poor teenage run away. This is horrifying and no wonder this show was involved in a homicide investigation. And um how old is mikey? Admittedly chasing a 15 year old around. I think I'm going to be sick. Jenny deserves karma for exploiting this kind of shit. That's so fucked up

What was the story behind the homocide?
@taniele849 жыл бұрын
+Hannah Hannon Scott Amedure. I was a child when this happened, but I remember my mom being so appalled at this show and watching the trial etc. Scott was a guest on the show, there to reveal his crush on a male acquaintance. However , the male acquaintance had made it clear to the producers that he did not want to appear on the show if his "secret admirer" was a man. Long story short, they lied and exploited as they do and three days after the show Scott Amedure was shot and killed by the man he revealed his crush to on the Jenny jones show. Amedure family won a lawsuit against the show as they felt the producers were negligent etc the murderer had a history of mental illness and made it clear he wanted nothing to do with the show if the admirer was a man. I believe their desire for shock and outrageous reactions surpassed their duty to be responsible and consider the consequences. You don't do something like that with someone so clearly against homosexuality and a history of violence

It's disgusting and disappointing. No wonder abuse victims often end up abusing others in the future, people see issues like these and treat them like a way of feeling better about themselves.
