Great analysis! I like that you took the time to really try to analyze a quite boring movie instead of just dismissing it outright. Regarding 11:50, I think this actually is surprisingly true to life in some regards. I’ve known a few people to go from telling their kids, “You mustn’t be gay: my neighbors are homophobic!” to telling their neighbors, “You mustn’t be homophobic: my kids are gay!” I think they’re so used to hearing homophobia as just part of everyday conversation that it takes knowing a gay person to understand why it’s hurtful.

I swear when I watched this I thought the same thing. The couple was so boring. I don’t see no passion at all. It was hard to watch.

i remember watching it like secret from my parents and i tried really hard too(not getting caught) then i cried cuz the movie was bad because wedding is an important thing in my culture(turk/kurd) and i wanted to get emotional but no i didnt it was dull then i watched saving fave (it was the greatest experience in my life)

really boring movie. We didn't see any interactions btw the main character and her girlfriend, they really looked like they were roommates.
