Thats hockey right there. Solid clean open ice hit, Vatrano definitely felt that one but got right back up, nobody dropped the gloves, play goes on. It's a beautiful thing

This was one of the best hits of the season Kempe was playing as a defenseman on that shift too because 3 of the Kings defenseman were in the penalty box

Most of kronwalls were cutting guys off on the boards This was out of nowhere from a player not known for hitting and he was last guy back. Could have been burned but no he delivered a perfect check without being dirty

That was a beautiful hit. Heck, even Frankie took it well and continued. Best part was that NO ONE came at Kempe after that one. That’s the annoying part of today’s hockey that you can’t even hit without getting to answer for it after. Very annoying after a good clean hit.

Great hit, for some people that say fights after hits are stupid if you get lined up and crushed like this it isnt EA Sports be a pro lol you gonna be hurting an mad even tho its part of the game no one enjoys the hit. So props on the ducks for taking it chin up an no one catching a penalty
