Also I really like all the scenes between Davina and Mikael in this episode. He is def the best to teach her how to become strong, after all he is a Viking warrior. And this episode particularly showed his strenght, he is probably one of the strongest characters, psychically and mentally, or maybe even the strongest one.

Seeing as Elijah said the exact same things as Michael word for word....Right before he began training the vampires. I think Klaus or Elijah or even Marcel are far better choices. I put Michael in the same category as Hitler. I am sure Hitler could have been the best to teach certain things better then anyone. However i dont want to associate or even want his teachings... So basically IMO Davina brought back someone as bad as Hitler and is asking for them for help.

Esther enhanced Mikael's strength in her spell that changed him. That's the reason why Mikael and Alaric were stronger physically than even Klaus. But neither could outmatch Klaus in terms of strategy and cunning.

That was never said anywhere??? I could be mistaken but I’ve never seen or heard of that ever happening. The reason I do think Mikael is stronger is because before they turned he was a warrior so adding that to his new vamp abilities makes him the ultimate killer. Not only that but he was mentally in Klaus’ head. You can’t fight something if you’re not mentally and physically on the same page which the Mikaelsons never were because they feared him

No matter how much you hate Mikael, you have to admit he’s an amazing villain. Nobody could play him better than Sebastian Roché does. Love the Mikael and Davina moments, the Cami and Klaus moments and the team up between the wolves and vampires this episode. I do wish we could’ve sent the whole fight between Elijah, Oliver and the rest of the wolves. I actually really liked seeing Oliver and Elijah work together.

Also, I think the Davina/Mikael combo is intriguing. Mikael always insisted that Rebecca shouldn’t be wielding a swords and here Davina is challenging him to teach her. It’s very father/daughter (almost) of the show. She’s separated from Marcel for reasons of her own but Mikael comes in and helps her in a way Marcel would. It’s interesting to me.

Really like the moments between Josh and Marcel. Mikal is a shit dad but a great warrior. I like that the importance of being a warrior is passed down from Mikal to Klaus and then to Marcel. Originals throwing shit through peoples windows is always great. Josh and Aiden thooooo, so bloody cute.

I really love Elijah and Klaus, and this Kol is pretty great. I love Josh and Aiden is fun too. Mikael is quite the villain but Sebastian has such a compassionate feel to him, that makes the character super likeable. And even with all those things to love, I still think this beginning of season 2 is quite dragged out, and a bit boring. The whole "my dad wants to kill me and my mom hates who I am" thing is just so Klaus in TVD. We've seen that already, why do we need the same base plot again?
