Once rode my Honda PCX 150 scooter in a lightning storm, so much wind and rain it felt like I was on a jet ski. Only other stupid thing I did was riding it 30 miles in 5 degree temps snow and ice covered roads. Oh, the good times!

Truth is of you're looking between these two bummed my personal opinion is go for the freedom. It's essentially the same bike with more battery. I believe the freedom also has more torque

Yes that’s to cover the new tariffs that were put in place by the government. They kept the price of the base bike the same for now and even with no upgrades it’s an amazing bike. You can still add accessories like front rack, bags and mirrors without having to pay the extra tariffs.

Do a max range test between 1-3 pas setting to see if you can make it over 40-50 miles they do advertise that it can hit 70 miles..

Good morning JM, Is there any way you could urge the ebike makers to include a kickstand safety switch wired into the brake lever kill switch circuit? After breaking my neck over a forgotten kickstand during a high speed left turn, I've given it a lot of thought. I contacted a few ebike makers, but it occurred to me that you might have way more influence with a lot of companies! I remember G-Force speaking highly of you...

Yeah@@JeremiahMcintosh, you might be right. But since KZbin reviews influence the majority of China's ebike sales, y'all might carry more weight than you think! Another thought I just had might be US Congress. What if they added a 'kickstand safety switch' to the US national ebike parameters? I think Japan did that with motorcycles and it has saved a lot of lives...

The motor on my Five Star is pretty loud and the faster I go, the louder it gets. It starts to vibrate and makes a high pitched whine. Does your bike do this?

I have been riding an ebike for 5 yrs. That said, if you want to go 35+ mph, buy a scooter or keep those speeds on the roads. Riders flying down walking/bike trails will get ebikes being banned from trails!

As far as I know the battery is UL certified but I don't know its IP waterproof rating. The bikes electronic connections are all IP65 rated which means they're very water resistant. I also don't know the IP rating of the motor, wish I did though.
