Angel Gutierrez in all honesty though the Americans didn't decide to just join in when things looked rough for Britain, they joined in because of an attack on Pearl Harbour by the Japanese. Correct me if i'm wrong but as far as i know America had no intentions of helping until Japan forced their hand. Also saying Americans saved the Brits downplays the sacrifice that Russia made where for every 1 US solider that died around 80 Soviet soldiers did. Without Russia it's quite likely that both the US and the UK would have fallen due to the Germans having advanced technology and a strong military. Russia was 100% the deciding factor in WW2, not America.

I once talked with an F-15 pilot who said he did a 45-second centrifuge run at NINE g. In order to fly the Eagle, you have to hold 9g for 15 seconds, but this guy said he held it for 45, after which his body was completely exhausted by every measure. I can't even IMAGINE how difficult that must be.

It's only couple seconds and the recovery is near instant without long lasting effect. It's basically no different than jumping very hard without getting tired. In fact, high jump can causes more G's than F1 car does. The real challenge becomes when those forces are applied for long time consistently, like in a fighter jet doing difficult maneuvering.

How is the controller not dizzy sitting in the middle of the centrifuge?
@MM-vs2et
@MM-vs2et 4 жыл бұрын
I think the closer you are to the middle of the rotation, the less effect you get compared to further away. In the middle, it'll probably just feel like being in a train, because you're not getting pulled as much.

much greater force on the outside than in the center of the thing, also he´s looking at a screen that moves with him and is therefore stationary for him.

+TheGrandAsian hi. my friend you too can own one few ways.. either save few hundred pounds every month and finish it off buying a loan. Or start with a gtt and convert it custom style. Or just get a loan and buy one and pay back slowly. but be quick as they are rising in price every year. I brought mine as a shell and worked on it.. everything custom. and have been working on it for last 7 years. it just never ends ... there are so many options so many things you can do to it.. never ends. Haha.. I will post it up soon. I can assure you it will go viral. I'm sure of it !! yea baby.

@kdy2boy The outside of a spinning object is faster than the inside. Kind of like a cd or record. The point where jeremy is has to travel further but do it in the same time as the point where the controllers where sitting. Therefore more speed in a circular motion = more g force. Hope this helps :D

What would be awesome is to change the seating position so that the g's fling your body backwards instead of downwards. That way you'd be able to simulate the acceleration of a formula one car or a top fuel dragster, but constantly :). Should be fun!

In that video, I think they said that the down force of the wind on the Caparo T1 is 4G in order to keep it stuck to the down since the car is so light. The 4G of wind does not push down the driver.
