I don't think the "you never saw it coming" was meant for us, it was meant for Wanda. Agnes was doing so much to keep things moving smoothly and protect Wanda from the outside world that Wanda never considered why Agnes was being so helpful. The "Agatha All Along" sequence is just Agatha dunking on Wanda for not paying attention.

Wanda has literally lost everything. Her parents, her brother, her home, and finally having to kill the love of her life, only to watch him come back and be killed again. She’s so freaking tragic. This is the episode we get confirmation that the government wants to use Vision’s body as a weapon. It wouldn’t surprise me if Wanda finding that out was the last straw. I don’t know how this show ends, but if it ends with Villain Wanda I’ll find it hard to route against her.

I just wanna point out how good an actor the kid playing Billy is. Last episode he had more spotlight, sure, but even this week, he was really on point with the way he even reacted to what other people said. Most kid actors say their lines and then they turn off, but this little dude just had really good facial expressions to what was being said, and really well timed comedically too.

As much as I like this theory, I hope thats not what happens. The big reason why inhumans and mutants are different is by the simple fact that inhumans are the ones with the dormant abilities and mutants are the ones with the active ones. This theory would simply take the dormant aspect and apply it to mutants which would confuse a lot of viewers considering that Ms. Marvel is coming soon and shes an inhuman.

The reason Monica works so well as a hero is the same reason Carol didn't work at all. Monica is willing to sacrifice everything, even her life, to help others. She encountered what should have been death and failure but refused to give up, willing to die in order to try and help Wanda... technically her enemy. A hero is only as good as what they are willing to sacrifice. I really hope Monica takes over as the new Captain Marvel in the sequel. She deserves the title.

I always rewatch the entire series after the new episodes and I noticed in episode 5 in the 80's/90's era that right when Wanda says they need help with the children there is actually a jump cut (like what happened with Vision when he started to realise things in ep 3) right before Agnes walks through the door. Maybe Agatha is just writing herself into the show and isn't supposed to be there.

Wanda may have been tricked/convinced/influenced by Agatha's magic to create the bubble, but everything is Wanda, the sitcom format, changing it every night, etc. It becomes more unstable as she becomes more unstable. It was a means to escape her reality but as the tv format became more and more realistic and closer to her present, she is escaping less and less from what she is trying to run away from. Her depression. Agatha simply took advantage. How? The examples are in her own "Opening credits".

The reason that the whole series has a sitcom motif is because Wanda wanted a perfect life as presented in sitcoms. I thought that was explained in the show. That’s why she cuts things out of the broadcast when they don’t go her way. She wants to perpetuate her feeling that everything is perfect, and she does that through sitcoms.

Well I knew she probably killed the dog when that happened and I've thought Wanda was creating the show, but wasn't the "director" since her brother got recast, Agatha is. I remember going into this show believing that Wanda having to kill Vision and then watch Thanos rewind time only for him to be killed again all in about a ~10 minute time frame. You have to remember that Wanda never got a chance to actually grieve Visions death as she was snapped out of existence right after Visions second death and when she came back almost got to exact revenge on Thanos, but didn't get to kill him herself. We all knew she obviously snapped mentally seeing as how she went and stole Visions body because they were weaponizing him and created the hex so he could be alive with her (It's unclear if Agatha helped pull the strings to cause Wanda to go get the body or of she became involved after the Hex was created (my money is on Agatha having been involved before Wanda took Visions body. From her point of view Vision was killed twice just approximately a week or so after the events in Endgame. The missing children they referenced in Spiderman Far From home and in this episode (along with Pietro asking her where shes been "hiding" the kids this whole time) are clearly in the Hex right now. If everything is "for the children" then I think they're referencing all the kids that have gone missing and her two children. At this point I'm guessing they were taken by Agatha or whoever she answers to for the purpose of turning them into mutants or just getting powers and then using them somehow (perhaps feeding off of them to make Agatha or Mephisto/Nightmare stronger. There's also that evil looking, glowing magic book that Agatha has in the basement. She could be consuming Wanda's chaos magic and/or the magic now inside of everyone that's been effected by the hex (especially the children) for the purpose of summoning the big big bad into the MCU. The shark in the Yo-Magic Commercial was either referencing Agatha or a yet to be seen villain though I think it's Agatha. If you go back and watch the trailer for episode 7 after episode 6 aired they show a scene of Wanda when she was with von strucker (before the events of Age of Ultron) staring at a blue glowing light (the scepter) and then an explosion of bright yellow light (the Mind Stone at the moment it gave her her powers). This leads me to believe that Agatha orchestrated all this so that Wanda would recreate the mind stone inside the Hex, which is why I believe it's a hex (I feel like they're basically living inside of a large, expandable mind stone at the moment). Everyone turning into circus characters felt like they were straight up telling us "this whole situation is out of hand and basically a circus" with the reveal of Darcy and the others that were effected when the Hex expanded. I think there's a serious chance that by the end of this season that hex either expands to cover the whole Earth and explodes outwards off into the universe. This would create a whole bunch of mutants/individuals with super powers suddenly. Also if the Hex does grow in size enough to engulf the earth or just explode outwards and achieve the same thing and rewrites the chemical makeup of everything on the planet then Vision WILL be able to survive once the Hex is gone. I don't see any other way for him to survive and continue to exist in the MCU reality. So I think he's either going to die for a third time or be saved by the methods listed above.

I can’t get behind either team outside the Hex. Hayward is being, almost cartoonishly aggressive so I don’t like him. And Monica’s sole motivation is “But what about feelings?” Which I also don’t like. I mean it’s like if my child had died, so in response I walk into a elementary school and hold all the kids hostage while making them play house with me. Logically speaking you wouldn’t side with me person in that situation. That’s a save the hostages then ask questions. But Monica would side with me instead. Which is weird. I know the show will have Monica be right in the end, but she picked that side just because she feels bad for Wanda. Just would’ve worked better if when Monica was in the Hex she had accidentally discovered or can remember something about Agness and that’s why she was on Wandas side or something.

Loved this episode of WandaVision, finding out it was Agatha was predictable but still cool. But I just wanna say Jeremy, about what you said with the language thing: so true! I'm half Mexican myself (white dad, Mexican mom) and I can speak fluent Spanish and have been there many times, and the thing that connects me the most to it is just being able to communicate with and understand others, especially my family. If I didn't have that, I would just feel lost and like I don't belong. But since I do have that, I can form close connections to people and really enjoy the country and culture in ways that I wouldn't be able to if I couldn't speak Spanish. I can listen to reggaeton music, go to my family birthday's, cousin's weddings, even something as simple as watching a movie or going out to eat with them. I actually haven't been since 2017 for various reasons, ranging from money to the pandemic, but I really miss Mexico and consider it my second home. And the reason why I have that in my life is because of the connections I have there, and the connections I have there are because of the language. So just wanted to say I couldn't agree more with what you said Jeremy, it really hit me where I live, and thank you so much for saying it!!!
