Thought and logic only make forgiveness more difficult and in many cases impossible. Forgiveness is an act of faith. We forgive because we have been forgiven by God himself (following repentance) because we know he sees our every move and doesn't treat us as we deserve. The only logic necessary is knowing that you too are guilty of wrong doing towards another. But certainly not spending mental energy on whether or not to forgive someone else. We all are guilty.

I’m so glad I have been a fan of Charla since before this version of him, and tolerated the things he said that made me uncomfortable then, recognizing and focusing on his core strengths of honesty and not being afraid to be vulnerable.
