It's subjective. There are way better (technically) guitarists out there...but I agree Jerry is special and unique. In the end Jerry is not just a guitarist. He's also an amazing lyricist, good vocalist (his voice is unique too)...+the man is real and honest. All combined is in Jerry's music, you feel it.

@@MLCrow Personally, Jerry is one of my favorite guitarists, but I agree with you, it is subjective and there are players better technically. However, besides the technique, there's "that" thing about his playing, which is hard to put into words. He just doesn't fail to show the right emotions with his music, his sound is recognizable and unique.
@MLCrow2 жыл бұрын
@@dancingcorpses5750 Well said...and I personally like (the most) guitarists that don't overplay too much. Jerry has that perfect combination imo, "less is more". I was at a Dream Theater concert some years ago...amazing musicians (technically they are monsters) but after a couple of songs (take in consideration they have very long songs...also 20 min per song) I felt so bored, it was just too much for me, too long solos, too "robotic" etc. and they usually play about 3 hours per concert. I was exhausted. I would easier listen to Jerry Cantrell playing for 3 hours (with no problems, honestly).

Gracias, Jerry Cantrell.

I don't know who reads this, but loss and reconcilation work together. It can take a lifetime but for some, even the smallest ever goals imagined are the best improvement. Finding a way,... I learned to leave things behind and sometimes it's not thought easy but it beats becoming neglectful towards yourself then others. Most I know, [someone] easily supported my tiny improvements, but I also had to seek [their] professional help. And I still got mountains not hills to hurdle.
