This is cool footage, but as a life long musician I can’t help feeling a little uneasy when the drummer loses the beat during the chorus or B sections. I’m surprised too cause I’m pretty sure it’s Ron Tutt who was Elvis’s drummer for a while. He’s got a great groove during the verses, but it doesn’t seem like John Kahn is not hooking up with it so there’s no pocket there either. I’m sure this is a no pressure party gig and their all getting loaded but still, Garcia could’ve hired a local Bar Band to back him up for the night and probably would’ve sounded tighter.

"No pressure party gig" on a ship on a river with drunk Hells Angels throwing people overboard and a nice noose on stage lol To be fair the guys (and Donna) probably aren't used to playing in an environment like that lol. Jerry on the other hand is used to "playing for his life" and would end up having to do it at least a third time after this (and those are just the documented times lol)
