Hey Jerry. Discovered this song through Eddie but discovered a incredible incredible artist and writer. thank you for writing one of the most meaningful songs I have ever heard, and this video is absolutely perfect for the song. hope we find ourself on the road sometime soon. thank you for giving so many people so much, even if they will never know who wrote this song.

This is much tender and soft than Eddie Vedder's version and I like the way you arrange this video, you started before sunrise and ended when the sun comes out with birds singing. Meanwhile, I also like the tunnel part, when you came out the tunnel and embraced the light, it's like when you are in the dark there's always hope out there. I really like this video which made by yourself that I write so many comments :P

Yes. I also thought it was tender. Tender and truthful. A beautiful video. 😍

Without a doubt the best song I've ever heard. The lyrics are fantastic, and I applaud you for writing this song. Both the your original and Eddie Vedder's version have been a large influence on me. I know that gets said often enough about various songs, but I truly mean it.

Thank you for Sharing I share your song on social media whenever I need to explain my latest greatest rendition of Rip VanWinkle where I just vanish. Sometimes I’m gone for years, but no matter how long I’m gone, I find society right where I left it, if not closer and less suitable to my morals, values, and beliefs. I digress. Slightly off topic, It’s always nice to hear your morning music in the morning… Well wishes to those I can hear through the woods in their cars and planes, with a tinge of sorrow for their deprivation as I connect with my reality. Beautiful music. Even further afield of the point, Maybe it’s just me but, I’ve noticed, if left to myself, I don’t miss their world. I don’t feel lonely. I’m content/happy. However, the moment even just the thought of society enters my mind, my muscles tense. Meanwhile, I’ve realized if I want to find a society that reflects my values when I go out of the woods, I have to join with them to an extent. So here I am again, tiptoeing back into society so to speak, and sharing your song as explanation as I strive to I unwinkle myself so to speak.

Actually, that IS Jerry's song that has been written for Sean Penn's movie as E.Vedder did not come up with quite enough songs. Sean Penn met Jerry in a bar where Jerry was performing, loved his songwriting, and called him back to see if he could write a song for his forthcoming movie. So it's more like Eddie Vedder who did a very nice cover...of Jerry Hannan In Eddie Vedder's album (soundtrack) it's still Jerry who recorted guitars and backing vocals. Bonne soirée

part one Beautiful work man without a doubt the best one man shoot no budget music video i've ever seen..I gotta be honest and not just tell ya how great you are. Here R the things i noticed that could be re-addressed . First is your vocal, there's a few tuning issues, nothing 2 bad until that last line ..yikes it kinda hurts 2 hear. The mix is almost perfect but i hear the vocal fx and when picture shows outside wide open spaces the brain doesn't want vocal fx,
@cecilleB16 жыл бұрын
Admire all the work that went into this video. Cringed when I saw the guitar out in the salt spray.. is this a back up guitar? And the coyote.. what a stroke of luck. I assume that footage was shot the same time as the vocal. Finally, what is the vocal mike? Great sound from it. Imspired way to intro a song and get people interested in your music. See you in San Anselmo again this year??
