What's amazing about this is that Jerry is a legend and many would say the same of Brian Regan. Brian Regan gave that guy on the staff the exact opposite advice on timing. Both comedians are geniuses and they gave opposite advice. Goes to show how much of comedy is art, which makes it highly subjective.

That is sad about the Landmark Diner. What I love about that episode is that they go INTO the diner and each of them are drinking a Starbucks coffee -- which kind of defeats the purpose of going to a diner for coffee but it's also kind of funny.

If you've watched enough Dan Patrick interviewing people - especially comedians, he is soo desperate for ... not attention ... but validation from his guests. He's funny and intelligent and seems like a nice guy. But goddamn he asks his guests to give him praise and compliments. His inner child is still about 14 years-old. Love the guy. He's obviously successful, so I can't give him shit. But he is successful. Every sports fan knows Dan Patrick - stop trying to suck up for some pat-on-the-back thing. You're huge Dan. You're better off without ESPN these days.

disagree to the louder faster rule...Jason Alexander almost jumped shark on last few seasons of Seinfeld because he was too loud and over the top...sometimes subtlety and space is very funny...Kramer toned it down later on and was money, but earlier too clownish...Elaine was money the entire series...best actor on the show by far...
