That`s a great warm up! Thanks! People just need to realize that this is just an ice breaker. If they did this the entire conversation, it will look like an interview or like they are beeing nosey hahahaha

Great tip for an introvert as myself. It’s hard to believe that once, you were a socially awkward person . You give me hope.😅 Thank you.

"How many chardonnays you had?" might be a difficult question to answer ;) In magic we use questions for misdirection and we know there's a difference between "internal" vs "external" questions. For example, "is it cold where you're sitting?" would be an external question and "do you feel cold where you're sitting?" would be internal. External questions are easier to answer because they relate to the environment. Another example is when we find a card in a card trick, we ask an internal question “is this the card you’re thinking off?”. And that has more impact than the external question “is this the card you’ve picked?” Do you have similar definitions? And have you study applications of these topics in the context of magic and misdirection? :)

I like your advice. As for the Chardonnay question, if it’s difficult to answer, then you’ve had too many

Your smile is completely disarming. It makes me smile every time. Thanks! I think smiling is underrated and if done authentically it can be perceived as honest and more approachable. And that's why I watch your videos. Great tip on number questions. Will definitely apply it.

@@ScienceOfPeople Hi Vanessa, glad you like it. I enjoy your work on KZbin a lot; keep up the good work. If you want to know more about the underlying mechanisms of things like social anxiety (internal and external considering) and identification, read up on P.D. Ouspensky and G.I Gurdjieff if you haven't already. I can recommend "In search of the Miraculous" Pretty heavy stuff, but it explains human behavior and, after all, humans and that's what we're here for on our journey. Thx. for the comment. Greetings from Holland & Regards, Carel.
