It's nice to hear your positive comments about the young kids of today. A lot of people seem to have very negative things to say about younger people, but I think this says more about them than the kids they're criticising. I actually like the young folk of today more than those from my own generation. They tend to be a lot kinder in my opinion.

I agree that it’s not so much kids that have changed, but parenting has changed and I might add that technology has changed things as well. I had my one and only baby late in life-I was 40 when he was born and I now have a 16 yr old (you can do the math). That is what is delaying our move to TV but that’s ok. Our boy has been a blessing to us. I know a lot of younger parents and the differences in parenting is extreme! So many of these kids are growing up to be entitled and spoiled. I’ve tried to raise my son the way my parents raised me-which by the way, my parents were 40ish when they had me so they were children of the depression and WWII. They were frugal and I definitely didn’t get everything I wanted. I could go on and on... Thanks for the golf cart ride. I went along for the whole thing, even the burgers! I know the northern section is a long way for y’all to go, but I’d love to see a video of the older section even if it’s from your car. I like the older more mature landscaping. Oh, and I’d love for Linda to share her recipes. I’m sick of cooking and need some motivation.

When you have a programming engineer that starts with "Buckle up", who is worried about the height elevation of a passenger, the placement of hands on the wheel, and the placement of " two fixed-position", front and rear, cameras, whose programming content is a free thought speaking, guided tour, that is the guy I sign up with for the ride. Too many KZbinrs make the same attempt at programming, but do so while holding a camera, and what a wild ride that is. I love the content as I plan my vacation trip to The Villages, and I must admit that I am somewhat fearful of operating a golf cart/car there. I can only imagine that AARP's driving improvement programs in The Villages deal with the issues well, and the free-roaming "cowboys" who film need to take those classes. Attorneys make enough money with personal injury cases that they do not need careless filmers adding to their caseload. A job well done, Jerry, in regard to safety and content.

One point on the villages GPS, when estimating the time to a point it calculates at about a speed of 7 MPH. So figure if your doing 20 how much faster you get there. The GPS is great though and well worth the $7 or $8 we pay for it.

Even after 3 years of driving a golf cart and watching almost all your videos, we never get tired of your golf cart ride videos. We love the electric golf carts because they are quieter and less vibration especially on long rides. The golf cart on 11:11 (blue cart) looks like a Smart Car driving on a golf cart path. Btw, for a battery charger for a phone/iPad on a golf cart, we use a solar charger powerbank the size of an iPhone, and it can charge two devices simultaneously, so your phone doesn't run out of battery when using the GPS on a golf cart - just a suggestion. It's amazing how you can ride the golf carts to go to some of the strip malls outside The Villages. We enjoyed your ride as always. Thank you Linda & Jerry and Gizmo. Cheers 🍻🍻

Good Morning Jerry and Linda. The plantation shutters you have are nice, but usually the ones I have seen are done in pairs. so they can fold up to the wall. I made shutters for my tv room, and even for an experienced woodworker they can be a challenge, so the prices are on par.

Upside down cake is best baked in iron skillet. My hubby's favorite made from scratch cake. I bake almost from scratch & taught myself canning everything two years ago when I was ,70.

I live in a gated neighbor hood in Phoneix. Golf carts in here are treated like cars. Owner has to have a current tag on the cart Everything required to own a car is required to drive a cart.

OMG Culver's! We are 30 min from a Culver's and they too have the diningroom closed except for weekends. It is not yogurt, it's custard! My husband and I will be visiting the Villages for the first tie over Memorial weekend. We will be sure to visit Culver's again. I love their fries and Bacon Cheeseburger. My husband loves the Pork Tenderloin sandwich. I will ask for extra crispy fries. My only dislike is that they serve Pepsi. I am a Coke drinker!

Now Spanish, Italian, Thai, Texan - maybe an Honest Burger (their specials are to die for!) You can add some extras and take it closer to $30k (custom bespoke paint, stereo) - And yes you can fully spec them - just visit the design centre (can't wait!).
