Thanks for the ride. Brings back great memories when we were cruising on a cart. I still remember how tight the trail gets crossing the bridge going back and forth from Sumter Landing to Spanish Springs [<a href="#" class="seekto" data-time="2867">47:47</a> on you video as an example]. This is especially true when you meet another cart going the opposite direction!

I always pull my driver's side mirror in when I cross it and I usually straddle the yellow line until another cart coming at me is visible. Also on the golf cart bridge going over 441.

Jerry, You mentioned you wouldn't kill one of the little lizards for $100. I remember reading about a study where a large number of people were shown a spectacularly beautiful butterfly and told, "If you tear off the wings we'll give you a free trip to anywhere in the world". This was great! Would love to see a video all about golf cart etiquette and need to know information with things you mentioned like speed, how to park in a regular parking spot, don’t go when cars wave you through, pulling off into the gras to let people go around you, signs to pay attention to when new etc!

Well Alison, you can obviously tell that I am no expert. If you read the comments you will see that I neglected to stop completely a time or two at stop signs. We pass along what we feel is good information, but as we tell everybody… do your own research.

Love, love, love you taking us with you on your golf cart rides. I am curious where in Minnesota is Mike from? Both of you complimented the video with your conversation Mike should join you on videos when he is snowbirding in The Villages and you should take us with you when you visit Mike in Minnesota, how fun would that be. I wish golf carts were allowed on the streets of Corpus Christi if only in certain areas since we have so many retired and elderly residents here and in many of the older neighborhoods (older in Corpus is neighborhoods with homes built in the 60's). We semi retired to Corpus Christi, TX from Eden Prairie, MN in 2008 and plan to retire the end of 2024, you have convinced us to make a visit to The Villages, not a lifestyle visit, just a visit since your videos promote the beauty of The Villages. We have our forever home here in Corpus Christi and love it but thoroughly enjoy your Monday and Thursday videos with Jerry, Linda & Gizmo. Every community should have ambassadors on youtube to show people their communities, not only are your videos entertaining but they are a public service to The Villages and we thank you and appreciate the time and effort you put into them, Blessings.

Lol. Been in Cancun for the last week, so I’m catching up. Mike’s comment about being on “the list”. As a woman, that totally made me laugh.
