Thanks for the breakdown of steps. It's a shame that Autodesk doesn't even have explanations broke down like this. I appreciate you taking the time out to put this together

Hola, puedo actualizar una base de datos en map 3d? dibujando primero en civil 3D las polilineas y exportarlos a map para que se conviertan en polígonos conservándo la tabla de datos de la base de datos?

whether instead of the annotations of the parsel, can you insert a hatch or change existing hatch color based on the polygon object's data yes or no value? I dont want to use shp file for this operation.

Hi Jerry, I have a number of parcels in Autocad Map 3d. I can go in and attach ODT information to each parcel manually. Is there a way to have this information in Excel or Access and connect it to the lots automatically? Thanks Richard Hinds

The same can be used with polylines? or only with poligons ? The purpose is create a description of poligon information (data) and objetc data from polylines touching the poligon
@StefanoVerugi3 жыл бұрын
Not an expert here but I believe the same can be applied to points and lines or polylines too. It depends on what you need to use to identify your data applied to geospatial elements.

Hi Jerry Great video. Just a question. I exported Civil 3D pipe network with "Object data" using "Export Civil objects to SDF" option but when Importing I did not get object data only usual pipe network attributes. Any thoughts?

Thanks for this video Jerri, Civil3D has changed our business practice where our water authority has a submittal policy that requires submitting engineers to completely separate the utility features onto separate layers within the drawing by feature type and diameter. This allows us use the "load objects" tool in Arcmap to mass load and mass attribute the cad points and lines into the feature classes by the various cad layers within the drawing. This tool "load objects" will not be included in ArcPro. So we are looking at updating our policy to speak to a Civil3D workflow, where the append tool in ArcPro will take the place of the load objects tool. I hope to share our schema with area engineers to match our schema and supply us with properly attributed data that will append to our utility feature classes seamlessly. Do you have any experience in ArcPro appending attrubuted data to a feature class? if so I would love a video of that. Thanks!
