Definitely give it at least a couple months before deleting the old phone. I just went from the 11 to the 16 and for whatever reason the new phone won’t allow me to login to the tolls NY app to pay my tolls but I can still login to it on the iphone 11

Before the reset sign out from the apps you are logged into right ?

No need to do that. Your whole encryption key will be thrown away and all data deleted and inaccessible.

I got a new phone and completely erased everything from my old phone. Factory reset for it. I realized I forgot to reset the find my iPhone. Will it still be okay for me to trade it in or do I need to go back and do that

It should have asked you for your Apple id password in the reset process, that would disable find my. You should also have received an email confirming the find my disable. If you didn’t get the email you may not have had find my turned on or you could start the setup process and see it it activates without needing your Apple ID password.

I actually used Quick start to transfer data from old one to new one but then I realized i messed something up and now i need to do Quick Start once again, but first i need to erase my new iphone. Will that also delete my old iphone or it will only affect the new one? I am afraid that my old iphone will get erased too. Please help
