29:42 just as a little fun fact, cause I'm a huge English monarchy nerd. Bridgerton is set in the Regency Era, King George and Queen Charlotte's reign, they are Queen Victoria's grandparents. Victorian era is the time for Victoria's reign. They're two different eras. I get why you associated it with Bridgerton, but the fashion in those two eras were completely different. And I honestly love that they chose Victorian theme cause they're so beautiful. Again, this is not a correction. I just wanted to mention it so you can look the difference between the clothe in Maxton and the clothe in Bridgerton. I personally prefer Victorian dress.

In the books Graham Sutton is actually just about 23 or 24 now. But unfortunately the actor looks like he is in his early 30s which makes the relationship seem a lot more cringe. But in the books the age gap isn't that big and he just finished university. Lydia was about 15 when they first met. Now she's 18 or 19. But they know each other for almost 4 years now and they met when he was a teacher student.

@@dammma Hm? Why is age gap of 4 or 5 years weird? 🤔 A friend of mine also knows her boyfriend since she was 15/16 and he also was almost 20. So I don't get your point. There are even some people who have a age gap of 18 years or more! I would understand if you think that this is weird... But 5 years are nothing. Even between the age of 17 and 25 you don't even notice the difference. There are lots of people that look much younger than they are and others who look older. So when you fall in love with somebody you don't fall in the age... You fall in love with this person! And a age gap of 4 or 5 years really doesn't matter if you understand and like each other. It's about being there for each other and making each other happy. :)

@@dammmaI completely get your point and I actually agree. But love sometimes has other plans. I had a friend in school, she fell in love with a guy several years above us. She was fourteen and he was eighteen. Everybody called him a child molester and she cried a lot. Her parents allowed the relationship because he was really nice and they agreed with the two of them that nothing would happen before it was okay. And the two loved each other so much they endured the time period. They married in their twenties and got two beautiful children and am still together. Their love story showed me how you can deal with the age issue with respect and love. (And of course Lydia’s father is not capable of that.)

They didn’t do the English dub themselves. They all speak English but at varying levels of fluency so I guess they chose something more consistent. Which is a shame because the English dub we got is almost offensively bad! 🥴
