Hey my lovelies, I hope you are all well. In this video I am sharing with you how I made these Jesmonite AC730 Terracotta Pots. I have been so excited to try the AC730 Terracotta and it did not disappoint.
Jesmonite AC730 is an ideal product for garden planters and pots. Sealed with the AC730 sealer. will be ideal as a statement home decor piece.
The Jesmonite AC730 seen in the video can be purchased directly from Polysill UK at
www.polysil.co...
Measuring:
for AC100:
Fill your mould with water.
weigh the water.
divide that number by 2.
This will give you the Liquid needed for the AC100.
multiply by 2.5 for the powder measuremnt.
For the AC730 ...
Take that overall measurement from the AC100 and add 200g.
Take that measurement and divide by 6. This will give you your ONE PART.
AC730 is one part liquid to five parts powder.
The pot moulds used in this video can be purchased from my Amazon Storefront. These are Affiliated links which means I get some support from Amazon to continue my channel at no extra cost to you.

😂😂😂 Stop with the chocolate references, will you, I'm drooling here! Seriously though, these are lovely Claire. FYI, but your vinegar from a catering supplier if you can, I use vinegar for cleaning and laundry, so I buy it in 5lt bottles and it works out much cheaper. I know vinegar is not expensive but every little saving helps.

So interested to try the AC730. It looks amazing. Have you done any comparisons of how waterproof it is vs AC100? With the extra 200g, the amount extra would vary depending on your mould size. 200g extra in a mould that takes 1326g AC100 is approx an extra 15% (200 ÷1,326 ×100=15.08%). So if you were using a mould that took 350g AC100, you'd want to add 52.5g extra for the AC730 (15% of 350g=52.5g). Hope that makes sense 🙈 Having said all that, I've just had a look at the Jesmonite calculator and it has an AC730 setting, so you can work it out from the water weight, same as the AC100.

Fab video as always Claire, like the idea of the marble 730 mmmmmm! I was wondering if it is just the acid in the vinegar which does the etching and whether citric acid e.g. powder mixed with water to a similar strength as the vinegar or even stronger would do the same job without the horrendous aroma? think it might be worth a little experiment me thinks!
